ABOUT ME

My art is driven by the moment of the click. The ability as a photographer to snatch a moment of beauty, of connection, or of joy is addictive.

My work aims to share that connection with the viewer, whether the viewer identifies or connects with the subject or myself.

I’m particularly interested in how natural light plays across the frame, and can serve to further highlight the emotional connection between subject and viewer.

My photographic influences include Ben Watts, Robert Mapplethorpe, Hiro, Alfred Steiglitz, Paul Strand, George Pitts, Craig White, and Rick Ochoa.  My work is also influenced by several painters, including Rothko, ter Borsch, Hals, Hopper, Vermeer and Giacometti.

My work has exhibited at Culturefix, Gallery O on H, and Fine and Raw Chocolate. I have shot commercially for a handful of fashion, business and event clients.
